This is a novel that can only be described as a romance but this romance is one which takes place between two men. One of the men holds a high position with the church and is married with two children. When he discovers that his true love is actually another man, his whole world is threatened, career, marriage and his relationships with his children and friends. He has some big decisions to make and the process is not made any easier by the antagonism leveled towards him and his lover by family, friends and of course a hypocritical church system that does not approve of this 'gay before god' relationship.
