Self-taught Uzbek language, prepared by Ilya Kissen and Shavkat Rakhmatullaev, was repeatedly published in Soviet times. The interest in the manual is explained by the fact that it focuses on speaking skills, not grammar, and is intended for people interested in the speedy application of the language in practice. In the proposed self-taught edition, a small edit has been made, it is slightly modernized. The methodology and structure of the self-teacher remained the same, but the Cyrillic alphabet has been replaced by the Latin alphabet, which is currently used in the Republic of Uzbekistan, the vocabulary and dialogues characteristic of the Soviet era have been replaced with more relevant ones, an audio recording has been made, listening to which will be very useful for developing listening skills and pronunciation.
