Fedorchenko's book "People at War" was the most popular, which attracted attention with the wealth and brightness of the peculiar soldier folklore collected in it, juicy everyday flavor. The book, however, is superficial: it did not reflect the deep ideological shifts that took place in the mass of soldiers passing on the path of Bolshevism.
