The collective monograph describes the holistic experience of analyzing the methodology of a standardized interview in terms of communication between the interviewer and the respondent, as well as an attempt to study and reconstruct the life world, the professional identity of the field interviewers themselves. It was based on the results of numerous methodological projects organized by the Laboratory of Social Research Methodology of the Institute for Social Analysis and Forecasting of the RANEPA under the President of the Russian Federation from 2012 to 2018.
