The monograph presents the results of a sociological study implemented in 2019 in 14 constituent entities of the Russian Federation. The study was commissioned by Rosobrnadzor within the framework of the federal project "Ensuring the implementation of measures to assess the quality of general education in educational institutions based on the practice of international studies of the quality of training students" (federal project "Modern School," national project "Education"). In a sociological study, factors are determined that determine the degree of satisfaction with the conditions and results of general education, the degree of involvement of students in the educational process is determined, problems arising in the general education system are identified, and conclusions, recommendations and proposals are formulated to improve the situation in the field of general education and solve the identified problems.
