This manual is written on the program of the course "Introduction to Linguistics" and is intended for first-year students. It consists of 6 sections, each section includes several topics. Each topic is preceded by a detailed control questionnaire. The manual contains a variety of exercises based on materials from Russian and the foreign language being studied.
