The theory of interaction of electrons and photons was significantly based on experimental data. In recent years, experiments have been performed to test this theory, in which amazing measurement accuracy has been achieved. We are trying to give an almost complete overview of the modern experimental status of quantum electrodynamics, while slightly touching on theoretical problems and questions of history.
