Modern volunteering, starting almost from scratch, today actively declares itself, increasing the scale and expanding the boundaries of its participation in all spheres of Russian society. Volunteer practice is formalized in a separate institutional system, including various activities, forms and levels of organization of the volunteer movement. The specifics of organizing volunteer activities are determined by its socio-mass and instrumental nature, functionality and content of structural components. The strategic goal of the development of the volunteer movement in the country was to create effective mechanisms and favorable conditions for the involvement of citizens in the practice of volunteering.
