The book of Paul Lafargue (15.01.1842 - 25.11.1911) " Language and Revolution" (1894) was the first Marxist work specifically devoted to language issues. In it, Lafargue examines the history of language from the standpoint of historical materialism, proving the importance of influencing the language of socio-economic factors. The book had a significant impact on the development of theoretical linguistics in the USSR.
