Foreign Military Review is a monthly information and analytical illustrated magazine of the Ministry of Defense of the USSR and the Russian Federation. Published since December 1921. Free subscription became possible only from December 1973. Prior to this, the publication with the name "Military Foreigner" was available only to senior officers of the Soviet Army and Navy.
