George Bowling is only 45, but he is increasingly beginning to think about the worthlessness of his life. He is dissatisfied with everything: his appearance, work, family. The present is unbearable for him. But the past, on the contrary, evokes only pleasant memories. A small town with a couple of shops and a market square, where George spent his childhood, his parental home and a large lake with huge fish, and incomparable air, as sweet and heady as it can only be in carefree youth.
