The monograph is devoted to the problem of reconstruction of the early stages of the formation of Old Russian culture. The role of the influence of Slavic-Scandinavian relations on the formation of Old Russian culture in Podesenna is considered. Specific models of relations between Normans and Slavs at the level of material and spiritual cultures are presented, their influence on urban processes is shown.
