The book continues the series "Russian Hidden Literature" and serves as a direct addition to the collection of the Maiden's Toy, or Works of Mr. Barkov "(Ladomir, 1992). It presents works of mass erotic poetry of the late XVIII - early XX centuries, distributed in manuscript lists and published in foreign or illegal Russian publications. Unknown authors were guided in their work by the traditions of Barkov, whose name has become a symbolic designation for this entire branch of Russian poetry.
