"Picturesque Karamzin, or Russian History in Paintings" - an edition issued in 1836-1844 by Andrei Prevost, is a kind of arrangement of "History of the Russian State" by N. Karamzin. The publication is addressed to a wide range of readers, therefore, according to the publisher's plan, the basis of the books is a collection of lithographs, which depict key moments of Russian history.
