The publication presents a photo album in which Members of the Royal Family are captured during Her stay in Tobolsk exile. These photographs were taken both by the August Prisoners themselves and by persons from Their inner circle - the French and English teachers of the August Children of their Imperial Majesties - P. Gilliard (1879-1962) and C. Gibbs (1876-1963) in 1917-1918. Some photos are published for the first time. The album is equipped with numerous excerpts from the personal diaries of the August Couple, excerpts from the diaries of memoirs of persons close to Her, as well as representatives of the atheistic Soviet government.
