Peasant war led by E.I. Pugachev 1773-1775. It was the most massive and large-scale peasant war in the history of Russia. Only active participants in the armed resistance numbered up to 100 thousand people. (peasants, Cossacks, working people, national minorities). The population of the rebellious areas exceeded 250 thousand people. The initiators of the speech were the Yaitsky Cossacks led by E. I. Pugachev.
