In the monograph, the author presents a scientific study of the historical content of Russian folk traditional culture and its significance for supplementing, adjusting academic author's research and modern historical practice. From a theoretical point of view, the study represents a new additional historical discipline - folk history, which is combined with social and economic history, historiography, source study and the methodology of history. The monograph is practically focused on improving the teaching of Russian history, bringing modern research on Russian history in line with the needs of the historical development of Russia, and developing a new national policy.
