The textbook describes the physical foundations of obtaining, converting and using optical radiation in agricultural production, theoretical and practical issues of using electric heating in agricultural production, highlights new directions for the development and improvement of methods and means of electric heating based on the latest achievements of science, technology and best practices. Methods of calculation of lighting and irradiation plants, their design features, possibilities of automation of these plants are given.
