In this Cyberpunk themed short story, the world is dominated by nanotech and a single super corporation called Obsidian. A patrol officer named Onyx has to come to grips with living in his father's shadow on the force as well as trying to find his purpose in life. On his nightly patrol in the skies of Peosta, a call comes in that a bunch of nanobots have been hacked and are being used as suits. It's up to Onyx and his superior officer, Damascus to clean up Obsidian's nanobot mess. The nanobiters or nanobot hackers aren't whom they seem to be.
