The basics of classification and biology of fruit plants, including methods of reproduction and modern technologies for growing plant material, were considered in accordance with agronomic personnel training programs in the open source software system. The issues of laying a garden, pruning and forming crowns, caring for trees and soil in the garden are described, the issues of formation and harvesting are covered. Features of intensive type gardens technology are illuminated. For the first time in a textbook on fruit growing, basic information on the protection of fruit and berry plants from pests and diseases is given. A separate chapter is devoted to rare promising crops.
