This study gives a wide panorama of Astrid Lindgren's life, full, on the one hand, of joy, fun, jokes and witty inventions that were born to her in the blink of an eye, and on the other hand, dramatic events and difficult experiences. Both of these sides of being, coupled with her literary gift, created a unique artistic world through which millions of readers wander enthusiastically.
