The textbook introduces the current state of the hunting economy in Belarus. Based on the concept of biogeocenosis, issues of the typology of hunting grounds are considered. Particular attention is paid to the issues of hunting and biotechnical measures, the development of means of hunting animals, hunting dog breeding. The types of hunts and safety precautions during their conduct, the accounting and assessment of hunting trophies, traditions, culture and ethics of hunting are quite fully described.
