Unlike all other world religions and teachings about Gnosticism, almost nothing is known: Gnosticism is a secret knowledge available only to representatives of esoteric schools and secret societies - medieval alchemists, freemasons, Rosicrucians, Kabbalists... Gnosticism offers man a fundamentally different picture of the world, an alternative version of his creation: there are not one, but two Creators, true and false. The false creator - the Demiurge - holds the human spirit captive to the material.
