The album presents bookplates of the most famous artists who worked in this field of fine art - graphics of small forms: Favorsky V.A., Kravchenko A.I., Echeist G.A., Kupreyanov N.N., Piskarev N.I., Sokolov V.I., Usachev A.I., Kravtsov G.A., Kala ita N.I. and many others. In the art of graphics of small forms, bookplates (book sign) has been widely developed. In the 60s of the XX century, Soviet artists executed more book signs than they were made in two and a half centuries in tsarist Russia. Tens of thousands of library owners stick bookplates on their books. In many cities, sections of book sign lovers are organized, bookplate exhibitions are organized, newspapers and magazines print articles about them.
