The purpose of the publication is to provide the course "Linguistic Studies" with literature and to develop students' skills and techniques for translating popular science texts containing linguistic and cultural information. Intended for students of 2-5 years of the faculty of modern foreign languages ​ ​ and literatures of the direction "Linguistics" and the specialty "Translation and Translation Studies," as well as for students and undergraduates of the historical and political science faculty of the direction "International Relations" in the disciplines "Linguistic aspects of translation," "Theory and practice of translation."
