The textbook describes modern approaches to pregnancy, methods of prenatal and intranatal determination of the state of the fetus, the principles of the postpartum period. Approaches of diagnosis, tactics of management and treatment of pregnant women with various extragenital pathologies are presented. Much attention is paid to the main obstetric operations, the technique of performing local procedures. Obstetric tactics are disclosed, including delivery by cesarean section, prevention and control of obstetric bleeding, DIC syndrome and obstetric injuries.
