The subject of our study are the uprisings that took place in Eastern Siberia in the 90s of the XVII century, when peasants, posad and ordinary service people united more than once on the basis of hatred for the tsarist satraps. What were the reasons for these uprisings, them; the driving forces, the course of the rebel movement, what determined the temporary successes of the rebels, why they were defeated, what is the significance and historical lessons of peasant uprisings? - these are the most important questions facing us.
