The textbook presents a synthetic and systematic presentation of the basics of the development, measurement, interpretation and use of social indicators in the description, analysis, forecasting, study of socio-economic processes, situations and phenomena at the global, national and local levels. Problems and tasks are linked to socio-economic concepts, models and theories, ways of obtaining information and its nature, intended purpose and areas of use of social indicators.
