The book by political scientists Sam Green and Graham Robertson is an attempt to find an answer to it not in a theoretical plane, but in a practical one. Dozens of interviews with ordinary Russians, studying the results of opinion polls, monitoring various groups on social networks and analyzing data on the composition and activity of protest groups - all these methods not only helped the authors understand who is really a supporter of Putin, but also draw a paradoxical conclusion: this support is not as reliable as is commonly believed, and at any moment it may end.
