The monograph for the first time attempted a cumulative analysis of the life path and views of L. A. Tikhomirov (1852-1923), a revolutionary and ideologist of Narodnaya Volya, who passed the tsar's prison, became a monarchist, editor of the official Moscow Vedomosti and ended his life as an Orthodox thinker. For many decades he was considered a renegade who changed the revolutionary struggle. In recent years, the work of Tikhomirov, a monarchist, has aroused great interest in Russia. At the same time, only an analysis of all the main events of his life and worldview evolution allows you to fully reveal the specifics of his views at different periods of life.
