The monograph discusses issues of empirical study of the modern acoustic environment, the role of information and communication technologies in the evolution of the hearing - acoustic environment system, as well as technogenic trends in the dynamics of the urban acoustic environment. Particular attention is paid to the preservation of data on the composition of the human acoustic environment. The issues of creating a "museum" of the acoustic environment as an element of the program for the preservation of cultural heritage are considered. The peculiarities of the proposed approach are not only in the development of psychologically substantiated technologies for recording natural sound events (preserving the "fingerprints" of the natural environment), but also in preserving the characteristics of their perception by people.
