In the last decade, Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia have become quite a popular object of research for Russian scientists. By the time of the collapse of the Soviet Union in 1991 and a significant time after it, there were almost no Baltic scientists in Russia; Today, dozens of specialists in their works touch upon certain aspects of history, ethnology, social, economic and political situation in Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia. This collection of articles was prepared following the results of the first international scientific conference "Baltic Studies in Russia," held in November 2014 in Moscow.
