The fifth volume of the Collected Works of Boris Khazanov includes two stories about the war and its consequences, stories about the camp world and a number of short stories with philosophically fantastic plots. The book is completed by the dialogue between B. Khazanov and the American literary critic and translator J.P. Glad about foreign Russian literature and the fate of the writer in exile.
