The collection presents the memoirs of the writer Vsevolod Nikanorovich Ivanov (1888-1971) about life and service in the Perm province during the First World War and the Civil War (1914-1919). The memoirs are supplemented with archival materials (track record, etc.) and a bibliographic list of Vs.N. journalism. Ivanov in Perm newspapers, as well as selected texts of his publications. The introductory articles of the collection reveal the features of the time and environment in which the future writer was formed and his personal story developed.
