Gardening has always been one of the important directions in the development of the agricultural sector of the Russian economy. Since the 1990s it has been in a state of decline - areas have been reduced, yields and gross fruit production have decreased. In recent years, the situation has changed for the better - the state is directing significant funds to the revival of gardening. For new gardens to become competitive, they must incorporate the most advanced domestic and foreign technologies.
