The first educational module of the textbook discusses the theoretical and methodological foundations of organizing research activities in management. Justification of the scientific and practical effectiveness of the organization of research activities is given. For management masters studying the disciplines "Organization of research activities" and "Methods of sociological and applied research," university students studying in the specialty "Organization management," graduate students, university teachers, as well as managers of enterprises and organizations engaged in research activities.
