With his career in commercial aviation cut short by a drunk driver, Jack Roberts now spent his days appreciating the company of his family. He would sometimes escape to the peace and tranquility of the desert landscape. The winter of 1991 was exceptionally wet and cold as Jack made his way north away from Phoenix. In the darkness he kept thinking to himself "every cloud has a silver lining". Jack would soon find out that this particular cloud had a lining full of $100 bills. The thunderstorm would pale in comparison to the bloody world of narcotics and cartel cash that he would soon be engulfed in.
