According to the author, in the Soviet period, Russian music entered its peak. It was during this period, which liberals call "totalitarian" and not suitable for full manifestation of creative individuality, creative thought and initiative, that the maximum number of masterpieces was created in the entire history of the existence of Russian music. Despite this, the work of many of the geniuses of the Soviet composer school is little known today to the general musical community.
