Many years of experience of leading scientific, design and production organizations dealing with the problems of fire and noise control are summarized and systematized. Passive and active fire protection is considered. Means and methods of fire protection, fire-proof coatings for metal structures, reinforced concrete structures, air ducts, wooden structures, cable networks are given. Fire and smoke protection systems, fire alarm systems, automatic fire extinguishing systems are given. Noise protection provisions are outlined. The issues of sound insulation of production, residential and office premises were considered.
