V. N. Stepakov's book reveals unknown pages from the life of Pavel Anatolyevich Sudoplatov, one of the most prominent representatives of the domestic special services. Based on numerous documents and materials from the archives of the FSB of the Russian Federation, the SVR of the Russian Federation, as well as from the personal archive of P. A. Sudoplatov, the author is trying to refute numerous legends related to the name of this outstanding person.
