All of us, dreaming of becoming parents, think that we can raise our children without resorting to punishment. Becoming parents, we understand how difficult it is. Sometimes it even seems to us that it is impossible to do without punishment. How, then, can we ensure that our children grow up in an environment of love and kindness and are smart, kind, and obedient, that they behave with dignity, not out of fear of being punished, so that they understand our requests and prohibitions?
