The Constitution was introduced in Japan later than in other large capitalist countries. Its creation is closely connected with the bourgeois revolution known in Japan as the Meiji restoration and which took place in the second half of the 19th century. The purpose of this work is to summarize and systematize materials on an issue that, judging by the development of events in Japan, will more than once attract the attention of the Soviet public, and state your point of view on the circumstances related to this issue.
