The anthology includes works of the 1910-1920s, which are the earliest examples of dystopia: the stories "The Death of the Main City" (1918) and "The Story of Aka and Humanity" (1919) by Efim Zozuli (1891-1941), the novel "We" (1921) Evgeny Zamyatin (1884-1937), the novel "Leningrad" (1925) by Mikhail Kozyreva (1892-1941) and "The Letter Killer Club" (1927) by Sigismund Krzyżanowski (1887-1950).
