Principles of line-of-sight radio relay lines (RRL), tropospheric RRL and satellite communication systems, basic characteristics of signals and requirements to channels for their transmission, analog and digital multichannel transmission systems, equipment structural diagrams, RRL operation management principles are considered. Examples of design, basis of design of line-of-sight radar and satellite communication systems, characteristics of domestic radio relay and satellite systems are given.
