The course of lectures examines the foundations of the Marxist-Leninist doctrine of propaganda, its role and place in the activities of the Communist Party, questions of theory and methods of oratory, gives recommendations on improving the mastery of oral speeches. A special topic critically analyzes the content and techniques of bourgeois eloquence as a means of manipulating public consciousness. The course of lectures is intended for graduate students, students of the AOH under the Central Committee of the CPSU, higher party scales, party and Soviet personnel, ideological workers.
