The book contains materials from international courses on advanced training of specialists in the field of applied superconductivity, held in 1973 in Italy and devoted to assessing the prospects for the practical use of the phenomenon of superconductivity in various fields of technology. The reports were made by well-known foreign specialists and contain an analysis of the results obtained, as well as a forecast for the development of this area of ​ ​ research until 2000.
