Stein Ivan Petrovich - Russian writer of the first half of the XIX century. He served in St. Petersburg as a private bailiff. In the 1830s and 1840s he published historical novels, fairy tales in verse. Researchers of Russian science fiction are known for their story "Magic Glasses" (1845), the hero of which with the help of magic glasses becomes an invisible man.
