The textbook consists of 12 lessons-topics, united by a single topic and containing: the main text, the purpose of which is to teach reading technical literature in the specialties of machine and instrument-making universities; additional texts and dialogues for familiarization reading, activation of grammatical structures and public vocabulary, development of professional training skills in the topic under study; written and oral grammatical and lexical exercises of a communicative orientation. The textbook is successfully used in the training of certified specialists at MSTU named after N.E. Bauman and other higher educational institutions.
