The book is devoted to a short, but full of stormy events of the history of the emergence and development of the securities market of the Russian Empire from the middle of the XIX century. until 1917 against the background of the general context of the era, viewed through the prism of financial history. After the reforms of the 1860s, which began to modernize the country's economy, a new trajectory of development arose. In a short time, a new type of credit and financial system was created together with an extensive network of financial institutions, and the securities market, back in the first half of the 19th century. which was in its infancy, approached the markets of developed European countries - France, Germany, Belgium.
