The book examines the historical and theoretical aspects of similarity and imitation. Similarity refers to the rule of supra-natural unity. The action of similarity is always hierarchical: likening is the power of the original making copies, and imitation is the oncoming movement of the copy towards the sample. In addition, the study proceeds from two more obvious facts: firstly, a person is concerned about his own immortality, and secondly, in his many practices he will certainly imitate someone or something. The publication is addressed to historians and philosophers of culture, as well as to everyone interested in the theory and practice of harm.
